1. Acceptance of Terms

By using MeetCatch, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not install or use our service. Continued use of MeetCatch after any changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

2. What MeetCatch Is

MeetCatch is a productivity tool designed as a Chrome extension that helps you capture and organize meeting content. Specifically, MeetCatch:

• Records audio from the active Google Meet tab only
• Transcribes meeting conversations using AI technology
• Generates smart summaries of meeting content
• Works exclusively with Google Meet

Platform Limitation: MeetCatch currently supports Google Meet only. It does not support Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, or other video conferencing platforms.

3. Your Rights & Responsibilities

3.1 Ownership of Content

You own all transcripts and summaries generated by MeetCatch. We claim no intellectual property rights over your meeting content. You may download, share, or delete your content at any time through your dashboard.

3.2 Recording Consent (Important)

Recording laws vary by jurisdiction, and you are responsible for obtaining all necessary consent before recording any meeting. MeetCatch provides the tool, but does not provide legal compliance.

You agree to comply with all applicable laws regarding recording, including informing meeting participants when recording is active. MeetCatch is not liable for any legal issues arising from unauthorized recording.

4. Pricing, Payments & Refunds

Free Trial

All new users receive one free recording session upon installation to try MeetCatch.

Subscription

• Pro Plan: $10 USD per month
• Automatic monthly billing from sign-up date
• Payments processed securely via Stripe

Cancellation & Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription anytime via your dashboard
• Access remains active until the end of your current billing period
• Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis
• Contact info@meetcatch.com within 30 days of charge for refund consideration

5. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. Shared passwords mean shared responsibility. Do not share your account access with anyone.

If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, immediately report it to security@meetcatch.com.

6. Prohibited Uses

By using MeetCatch, you agree not to:

• Record meetings without obtaining required consent from participants
• Use recordings to harass, threaten, blackmail, or harm others
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the extension
• Resell, redistribute, or misuse the service for unauthorized purposes
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise our infrastructure

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

7. Service Availability & Accuracy

MeetCatch is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for excellence, please understand:

• AI transcription may not be 100% accurate
• Accuracy can vary based on audio quality, accents, background noise, and technical factors
• Occasional service downtime or interruptions may occur
• We are not liable for business losses due to service interruptions or transcription errors

Always review transcripts for critical meetings before relying on them.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• MeetCatch is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months
• This includes damages from loss of data, business interruption, or missed opportunities

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which liability is claimed.

9. Intellectual Property

The MeetCatch name, logo, extension code, and interface design are owned by MeetCatch. You may not:

• Copy or mirror our interface or branding
• Use our trademarks without written permission
• Create derivative works based on our technology

Your meeting content, transcripts, and summaries remain your property. We claim no ownership over user-generated content.

10. Termination

You may stop using MeetCatch at any time by uninstalling the extension and deleting your account. MeetCatch may terminate or suspend your access for violations of these Terms.

Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days. This deletion is irreversible, so please download any content you wish to keep before deleting your account.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Before pursuing formal legal action, both parties agree to:

• Attempt informal resolution first
• Engage in a 30-day good-faith negotiation period
• Contact us at info@meetcatch.com to discuss the issue

Most disputes can be resolved through direct communication.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:

• Minor changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Modified" date
• Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance
• Continued use of MeetCatch after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms

We recommend reviewing this page periodically to stay informed of any updates.
