TLS 1.3 in transit: Your data is encrypted while moving between your browser and our servers.

Data We Collect
Account Data
Name, email address. We need this to create your account and contact you.
Meeting Audio
Temporary. Captured only during active recording, processed immediately, then deleted.
Transcripts
Encrypted text summaries. Stored until you delete them.
Usage Metadata
Actions only (e.g., "user downloaded a transcript"). Helps us improve the product.
Billing Data
Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your credit card number.
Trusted Partners
AWS / Google Cloud: Infrastructure hosting. SOC2 and GDPR compliant.
OpenAI / Anthropic: AI processing for transcription and summarization. No training on your data.
Firebase: Authentication and user management.
Stripe: Payment processing. PCI-DSS compliant.
All partners operate under Data Processing Agreements that enforce strict data protection standards.
How Long We Keep Your Data
Audio: Deleted within 24 hours
Transcripts: Until you delete them
Usage data: 90 days
Logs: 30 days
Backups: 30 days post-deletion
Account deletion is irreversible.
Your Privacy Rights
If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have the legal right to:

International Data Transfers
MeetCatch operates primarily in the United States. If you're outside the US, your data may be transferred here for processing.
We comply with GDPR via Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
EU-based processing (Frankfurt) is available upon request for enterprise customers.
Law Enforcement & Security
We do not hand over user data without a valid court order.
If we're legally required to share data, we will notify you unless prohibited by law.
In the event of a data breach, we'll notify affected users immediately and report to authorities as required.
Policy Updates
This policy may evolve as we grow and improve MeetCatch.
If we make material changes, we'll email you at least 30 days in advance.
Continued use of MeetCatch after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

Common Questions
Does MeetCatch listen when I'm not recording?
No. MeetCatch only captures audio when you actively start a recording. Outside of that, it's silent.
Can I download my meetings?
Yes. You can download transcripts and summaries as PDF or TXT files anytime from your dashboard.
What happens if I delete a recording?
It's permanently deleted from our servers. Backups are purged within 30 days.
Do you support GDPR and HIPAA?
Yes, we're GDPR compliant. HIPAA compliance is available for enterprise customers upon request.
What languages do you support?
MeetCatch supports 20+ languages and can translate non-English meetings into English.
Can my company see my personal recordings?
No. Your recordings are private to your account unless you explicitly share them.
